"Counterfeiting in China has reached a crisis point." This common view is heard from many foreign executives and government officials. 

If you find someone counterfeiting your product, here are three possible way to crack down counterfeiting activities in China:

1. Raid action by administrative department: after investigation and located the target, you may file complaint with the administrative department which has the power to make raid action on the counterfeiters. During the raid action, the fake products could be seized and offical record could be used as evidence for future action demanding for compensation;

2. Criminal action: if the investigation discovered the fake products meet the thresholde for a criminal action, the complaint may be filed with the local PSB department (police authority) to arrange a raid action. Apart from seizing fake products, the police has the power to detain the counterfeiters. If the evidences suggest that the counterfeiting activities have constituted crime, the case shall be put into a criminal procedure. This is the most effective way to crack down counterfeiters;

3. If the counterfeiter is a registered company, after the administratvie action,  you may file a civil case demanding compensation.
