If you are a company outside China and want to set up a representative office in China, the following information may offer some help:
1. Your company shall existed for more than two years.
2. Your company needs to have a qualified office (usually rent) in Beijing for registration and operation
(upon requrest, we can assist you to find a real estate agent).
3. Your company needs to provide the following documents:
a. A copy of Incorporation Certificate
b. Bank Reference to prove the financial condition
c. Articles of Association
d. POA or documents evidencing who has the right to sign the documents
e. POA to point the Chief Representative
f. Copies of passport of representives
The above documents shall be notarized in your country and certified by Chinese ambassy
g. Other application files and forms.
If you are in specially regulated sectors, an approval from relevant Chinese government department is required.
