How to registered a company in China?
In China, the government agency in charge of the company registration is Adminstration on Industry and Commerce (AIC).
However, as a foreign investor, before company registration, you need to first get the government approval for the company. That means, first you have to file documents for the set up of the company to government approval authority. If the proposed company is in the specially regulated industry, you have to get another license from the relevant government authority. After approval, you go to AIC for company registration.
The next step is tax registration and other follow up procedures such as opening bank account etc.
All the above mentioned procedure could be done with the assistance from local lawyers.
