A foreigner or foreign company may open a trading company or export & import company in China. The process of setting up the company is as follows:

1. Creat a company name and pre-name registration for the new company;

2. Rent an office as business place;

2. File documents with the authority for approval;

3. Company registration with the authority;

4. Follow-up procedures (Tax registration, orgnicational code registration, foreign trader operator registration  etc.)

5. Contribution of the registered capital.
